BUSTING BUSINESS BARRIERS

Busting Business Barriers

13 November 2009

Ards Businesses are set to benefit from a wealth of experts, all under one roof at this one stop information and signposting event. The Business experts on hand will include representatives from local Banks, SERC College, Ards Borough Council, the Business Centre, Invest NI, HMRC, the Job Centre and accountants.

Leslie Ross, Chief Executive of Ards Business Centre Limited said, “This is an exciting event for businesses who are determined not only to weather the recession but want to gear up for the eventual recovery by reviewing existing or planning new business ventures for 2010. Whether your query is about staff training, business planning, grants, marketing assistance or finance this one stop shop will be able to provide you with answers.”

Derek McCallan, Director of Development added, “The Council as part of this initiative and equally importantly as part of its follow up wants to ensure that clear, practical advice is the norm, not the exception, from the public to the private sector. Real support to local businesses is important at all times but more especially in the present climate”.

David Smith, Director of Learning and Customer Support welcomed the initiative, “This is an example of three partner organisations working together to support local businesses. The South Eastern Regional College will provide appropriate development and training assistance to help businesses to recover from the recession”.

The free event is being held in Sketrick House, Ards Business Centre on Wednesday 18th November from 6 to 9pm; experts are available for one to one sessions on a first come, first served basis and attendees are requested to pre-register by calling the business centre on 02891819787 or by email to patricia@ardsbusiness.com
