Between Jan and March 2009 ICT and Tourism students were put into teams of 6 or less, given £10 and 4 weeks to make as much money as possible.
At the end the teams had to write up a report on what they had done, how they made their money, what challenges they faced.
They were taken to The Guinness Factory for the presentation day; they had a guided tour and got to see firsthand how Irelands biggest Enterprise is managed!
It was a great event. 100 students across SERC took part; mainly from ICT and Travel & Tourism. Some of the ideas included; Calendar making, eco-friendly lifetime canvas bags and Club glow sticks.
